2. Information we collect
a. Consultation request form
When you send the consultation form we store what you enter:
- Name (required), country, age, phone number, and email (English form).
- Current weight and height, and the procedure you are asking about.
- Anything you write in the medical notes or questions field.
We also store the address of the page you sent the form from (without any extra link parameters), the page language, the date and time, and a record of your consent to this policy with its version and the time you gave it. Requests are not accepted without this consent.
b. WhatsApp buttons
When you click a WhatsApp button, your browser sends the website a click record with: the button name, the topic you chose if any, the page or procedure (without link parameters), only the name of the site you came from if your browser provides it, and the page language. It does not include your name, phone number or any health information.
The BMI calculator and the free case review work inside your browser. The website does not store the weight, height, age, health conditions or result; these reach us only if you choose to send them in a WhatsApp message.
The button opens WhatsApp with a prepared message. The message is sent only if you send it, and it is then subject to the WhatsApp (Meta) privacy policy.
c. Health information
Weight, height, age, and anything you write about your health, previous surgery or medication is sensitive health information. Please do not write more than your question needs; you can share medical reports later when the team contacts you.
d. IP address
The website uses your device's IP address temporarily, in server memory, to limit the number of requests and prevent abuse. It is not stored with your consultation request or click record.
The website server may keep temporary technical logs that include IP addresses, for security and operation only.
e. Browser storage
The website uses your browser's session storage (sessionStorage) to avoid recording the same click twice and to remember that you closed the WhatsApp pop-ups. These values are not sent to the server.
The center may enable third-party analytics and advertising measurement tools (such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat and Microsoft Clarity) to understand visit numbers, which pages are useful and which adverts led visitors to request a consultation. When they are enabled a privacy banner appears, and they load only after you press "Accept"; you can change your choice at any time from the "Privacy settings" link at the bottom of the page. These tools may set cookies in your browser and are subject to their own privacy policies. We do not send them your name, phone number or any health information you write in the form.
Cookies set by the sign-in system are for admin panel accounts.
f. Third-party content
Some pages show YouTube videos, which load from YouTube's servers when they are displayed. Other pages show a Google map that loads only after you click "Show map". These services may collect information under their own privacy policies.
3. Why we use your information
- To contact you about the consultation request you sent.
- So the medical team can review your information for an initial assessment.
- To arrange appointments and coordinate with patients travelling from outside Jordan.
- To understand which pages and buttons visitors use to contact us, to improve the website.
- To protect the website from abuse and repeated requests.
We process consultation form information on the basis of the consent you give when you send it, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Who can see your information
- The center's responsible team members with an admin panel account that has edit or manage rights; view-only accounts cannot open requests.
- The website hosting provider, as the party whose server runs the website and its database.
- WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to contact us through it.
5. How we protect your information
Consultation requests and click records can only be viewed after signing in to the admin panel with an authorised account. The website limits how many requests it accepts from each source and their size.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, but we protect your information with the means available to us.
6. How long we keep your information
We keep consultation requests and WhatsApp click records for two years from the date we receive them; the team then deletes them from the admin panel. You can ask us to delete your information earlier at any time.
A copy of deleted information may remain in the website's backups for a limited time, until it is replaced in the backup cycle.
7. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you sent, or withdraw your consent, by contacting us through the channel in the next section. Deletion is carried out from the admin panel by a manager account and is logged without keeping a copy of the deleted information.
